PPN-NEWFA-12 is a new series of water-soluble and oil-soluble synthetic anthracene derivatives. It is a bright yellow to orange powder with a melting point of 110°C. With a molecular weight of 231.23, the substance has a specific gravity of 1.35. After being dissolved in freely chosen solvents such as water, ethanol, Isopropanol, Dichloromethane, and Acetone, PPN-NEWFA-12 forms a yellow-orange clear solution.
PPN-NEWFA-12 is suitable for electron transporting materials, liquid crystals, and organic pigments in organic light-emitting diode display industry, organic thin film transistor display industry, and organic solar cell industry, etc. It can be used with EC, NMP and PC as the solvent. Its vivid yellow tint of emission and thin-film colored material make it an ideal candidate for the development of novel color-tunable materials and liquefied crystal materials. In the luminescent material, PPN-NEWFA-12 can be used together with other fluorescent materials to improve the brightness and synthesis. It has good performance in different application fields such as EL elements and combined materials.
PPN-NEWFA-12 has excellent thermal stability and UV radiation stability, also has good solubility, stability and emission rate, as well as low excitation voltage. According to EPA 16-fold safety test, PPN-NEWFA-12 is non-toxic and non-irritant which can be used for optical guiding members, color filters, LCD panel backlights, etc. What's more, PPN-NEWFA-12 has high purity and low cost which makes it a perfect replacement of traditional anthracene derivatives.
