Product Name: Poly(ethylene glycol)-graft-poly(acrylic acid)

Description: Poly(ethylene glycol)-graft-poly(acrylic acid) (CAS NO: 42201-71-8), also known as poly(ethylene glycol)-graft-poly(acrylic acid) copolymer, is a water-soluble, amphiphilic copolymer consisting of a poly(ethylene glycol) backbone onto which poly(acrylic acid) side chains are grafted. It is a white powder with a molecular weight of about 10,000 to 20,000 g/mol.

Application: Poly(ethylene glycol)-graft-poly(acrylic acid) is used in a variety of applications, including tissue engineering, drug delivery, and as an emulsifier in cosmetics. It has also been used to modify surfaces to reduce protein fouling and cell adhesion, and to increase the solubility of poorly soluble drugs.

Characteristics: Poly(ethylene glycol)-graft-poly(acrylic acid) has a number of unique characteristics that make it suitable for many applications. It is non-toxic, biocompatible, and highly hydrophilic. It has excellent emulsifying and dispersing properties, and it can adsorb proteins, lipids, and other materials from aqueous solutions. It also has a relatively low glass transition temperature, which makes it suitable for use in low temperature applications.

Safety: Poly(ethylene glycol)-graft-poly(acrylic acid) is generally considered to be a safe material, but it should be handled with care. As with any chemical, it is important to read the safety data sheet before using this product.
